PRODUCT FAMILY / PTFE HOSE & TUBING
PTFE Hose & Tubing
Select the PTFE construction. Then define the operating conditions.
PTFE hose and tubing can be specified with smooth-bore or convoluted tube forms, braided reinforcement, static-dissipative options and preformed configurations for industrial fluid transfer and routing applications. Final suitability depends on the media, temperature, pressure or vacuum, dimensions, reinforcement, routing and end connections.

PTFE CONSTRUCTION OPTIONS
PTFE Hose & Tubing Construction Options
Select the product by PTFE tube construction, reinforcement and operating requirements. Tube grade, wall, dimensions, fittings and operating conditions are then confirmed as one complete specification.

01 / SMOOTH BORE
PTFE Tubing & Smooth-Bore PTFE Hose
Smooth-bore PTFE tubing and hose provide a continuous internal flow path for industrial fluid transfer. Bore, wall, dimensions, reinforcement and end connections are specified according to the media, temperature, pressure and routing requirements.
02 / CONVOLUTED
Convoluted PTFE Hose & Tubing
Convoluted PTFE hose and tubing use a corrugated profile to provide greater flexibility and support tighter routing than straight smooth-bore tubing. Final bore, wall, reinforcement, bend requirements and operating conditions are confirmed for the application.

03 / BRAIDED
Braided PTFE Hose
Braided PTFE hose uses a PTFE inner tube with external braid reinforcement. The PTFE tube construction, braid material, size, fittings and operating conditions are reviewed together for the finished hose assembly.

04 / STATIC-DISSIPATIVE
Static-Dissipative PTFE Hose
A PTFE construction for applications where charge-control requirements are part of the specification. The exact tube grade, construction and verification requirements must be confirmed for the project.
05 / CONVOLUTED + BRAID
Convoluted Braided PTFE Hose
Combines a convoluted PTFE inner tube with external braid reinforcement for applications requiring both flexibility and reinforcement. Tube construction, braid, dimensions, fittings and operating conditions are confirmed as one hose assembly.

06 / PREFORMED + SPECIAL
Preformed & Special PTFE Constructions
For routing-led projects, the tube may be supplied in a preformed configuration. Drawings, bend geometry, interfaces, reinforcement and production quantity should be reviewed together.
APPLICATION REVIEW / WHAT MATTERS
The PTFE construction is only the starting point.
PTFE is selected for its chemical and thermal resistance, but the usable range of the finished product still depends on the complete construction and operating conditions.
01 / MEDIA
What flows through it?
Media and concentration are reviewed before tube grade and construction are finalized.
02 / TEMPERATURE
What temperature does it see?
Continuous, peak and ambient temperatures can affect the finished assembly specification.
03 / PRESSURE + VACUUM
How is it loaded?
Working pressure, surge, vacuum and movement are reviewed with size and reinforcement.
04 / GEOMETRY + ENDS
How does it fit the system?
Bore, length, routing, bend geometry, end connections and available installation space complete the review.
CONSTRUCTION / FINAL SPECIFICATION
Tube, reinforcement and end connections are reviewed as one assembly.
Final suitability depends on the PTFE tube construction, wall, reinforcement, dimensions, end connections, operating conditions and any drawing-specific requirements. These factors should be reviewed together for the finished hose or tubing assembly.
